Build Back Better:
Memory and Sustainability

Home of Earth is a residential building in a post-war situation. The courtyard typology is taken inspiration from traditional Iraqi buildings to provide maximum fl exibility and privacy.
Home of earth is designed under multiple sustainable strategies. The building material is mainly earth, recycled from the debris of the site.
Livable outdoor space and accessible roof are integrated to each apartment to give more freedom to the more protected habitants: children and women.
